This is some more of the old news I’ve been storing, but it looks like, at least according to the linked to source, that gaming performance on Vista SP1 is that of, or greater than that on XP. Great news. Check out the following link for all the nerdy goodness.

Here is a fun little post about the new 80GB Metal Gear Solid 4 bundle causing so much traffic on Amazon, that the site crashed. Selling out in only moments, I thank my lucky stars that I was able to be one of the fortunate few to get my hands on one. Check out the link for all the nitty grits.

Before I give you the wrong impression of making you believe that I am some way commemorating these sites, please be perfectly clear that I hate top 10 lists. Next to twiddling your thumbs, these are the most worthless time eaters known to the modern day man (or woman). If top 10 lists had arms, I’d crucify them. If top 10 lists were crosses, I’d burn them (not that cross burning is ever appropriate, I’m simply trying to make a point, however inappropriate the methods of conveying that point might be). So here are the two biggest sites which kill my time, and sadly, linking to these sites is only going to help these two sites get more traffic than they already have.
1. Digg
2. Shoutwire
There you are. A top 2 list.

As your friend and mentor I feel a responsibility to let you know when I try a product which I find to either exceed expectations, or to be beneath my expectations. I am happy to say that PortableApps is a product which exceeds my expectations, and having unusually high standards for satisfaction in software, this is something you need to check out. I recently wrote a nice little paper for my college English 2010 writing course, and decided that I would share it with you. Note that this work contains a full Bibliography, along with in text citations. That means that you could, in theory, reference this for one of your very own papers! Wow. A paper which we can call academic; how exciting. If you like serial killers, a bit of psychology, criminal justice, or just don’t have anything better to do, please have a read. You’re welcome to use this work for your own endeavors, but please give credit where credit is due (that would be to me of course). If you would like something with a more friendly reading format, I’ve been so kind as to include a PDF at the included link.

Now you didn’t think that I had left you for good now did you? I realize that your parent’s left you, your job fired you, and school wouldn’t accept you, but I love you anyways. That’s probably because I don’t have to look at you, or hear your whiny voice. That being said, first things first. Happy new year! I know it’s already halfway through our first month together of 2008, however take another moment, and celebrate anyways. You feel that? That was the feeling of celebrating the lamest holiday ever! Perhaps I just don’t have the correct perspective or conception of what celebrating this holiday should be. I don’t drink, or do any of those party guy things, so I usually enjoy a nice evening of movies and junk food. That’s fun and all, but I do that when I have free time anyways, so it doesn’t really set this day apart from any other in my seemingly monotonous life. No this post has no point or any real substance, but hello again, and expect to see my faceless face here around more often now that I am back into my schooling groove.

I’m too annoyed and tired to write about anything. Instead you lucky people get a 20 something second guitar line I recorded the other day. It’s like Guitar Hero, but with a real guitar. Enjoy.
