I love Marilyn Manson, and upon hearing the great news that Twiggy Ramirez was making a comeback as the band’s bassist, was even more excited at the thought of a new album. Although the album isn’t here it its entirety, a new track named We’re From America can be downloaded at the band’s site: http://marilynmanson.com/
If you’re one of the more resourceful users out there, you can also find a few other tracks on the net named “The Wow”, “Arma-God Damn-Mother Fuckin’-Geddon”, and “Four Rusted Horses”.
I’ll be the first to admit that my word is going to be a bit single sided, but I love what I hear. These songs, particularly “Four Rusted Horses” and “We’re From America” definitely have an Antichrist Superstar / Mechanical Animals / Holy Wood vibe to them.

Grand Theft Auto Chinatown Wars is out now, and judging from reviews, it’s a title to pick up for those loving copious levels of violence, drugs, and sex (this includes me). Check out GameSpot’s review.

I’m not sure whether or not I’m surprised about this, but it Apple has officially announced that MMS will be making its way slowly to iPhone software 3.0. All I have to say is that it took them long enough. Why this wasn’t in 1.0, is beyond me, but better late than never right?
MMS finally comes to Apple’s iPhone 3G via OS 3.0.

Those who spend enough time with me (unfortunate for them) know that I have a passion for my Windows Home Server. I love that piece of hardware with all my heart and soul. It’s unhealthy. As such, I enjoy following news pertaining to this area of consumer hardware and have found a nice review on the new Linksys Media Hub.

The Unreal Engine 3 is an amazing tool for developers. Epic is going to give us a peek of the next version of the engine at GDC next week. Considering that this is one of (if not the) most popular engines out there, this is very exciting news.

There’s been a bit of noise about Capcom’s $5.00 DLC releasing to both PSN and Xbox Live shortly. The complaint from the majority of gamers is that this DLC is including content which should have been included in the initial release of Resident Evil 5, not something tacked on afterwards. This DLC includesa new versus mode, pitting players against one another. Check out the following link for the scoop on why Capcom believes that it’s fans are out of place.
Capcom VP explains RE5 multiplayer development, calls complaints ‘BS’.

A wonderful thing about the iPhone is that it’s functionality can be upgraded through firmware updates and app installations. A not so wonderful thing is the number of missing features its users are still waiting for. This includes flash support, copy and paste, push notifications, and so on. Engadget has made a poll seeking an answer to the question, other than copy and paste, what feature would you most like to see included in iPhone 3.0? Check her out, vote, and feel like you’re making a difference (even though you’re probably not).
Poll: What do you want most from iPhone 3.0 besides copy and paste?.

This news is a day late, but Resident Evil 5 has been released for both the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. I’ve personally picked up this title and am pleased to report that I am loving it. I have to admit that initially, after trying the demo, I was less than enthused with the controls, but thankfully after playing the title a bit more, am no longer griping. The game is very fun, even if not as intuitive as Resident Evil 4 was for its time. If you’d like more information on the title, give IGN’s review a read. I think they pretty much share my opinion of the game.
