Last year I downloaded the E3 press releases after their initial airing for convenience, but this year, G4 has decided to exclusively broadcast the event live on television, and in the process, screw me out of precious information. Thanks G4… NOT! *in Borat’s voice*

It’s that time again, and the nerd event of the year is nearly at hand. I am of course referring to the ever so wonderful and luscious E3 event. I, never being one for sports, treat this as my sport. This is my Super Bowl. We commonly see people making predications with the Super Bowl, [...]

Does anyone but me think it’s a little odd that the two highest rated games on the Playstation 3, according to IGN, are both titles which were released some time ago, on other platforms? Ninja Gaiden Sigma, given a 9.3/10 rating is essentially a copy of Ninja Gaiden Black on the Xbox, with improved graphics, [...]

With the ninth Tony Hawk title in the series being released this fall, the question must be asked, “When will it end?” Enjoying some of the greatest success seen in recent video game series, Activision has taken a queue from the biggest offender in the ‘releasing too many games in too short of time club’ [...]

Back in November of 2006, I and a few friends camped out at our local EB games in the anticipation of obtaining a preorder for the Nintendo Wii. There were only 16 units available, so thankfully we occupied places 4, 5, 6, and 7. I documented this adventure, and posted it on YouTube, and since [...]

Last night I was up in the early morning. A small amount of caffeine from a chilled diet coke provided me with just enough additional energy to be as responsive as possible, but not jittery to the point of degrading my skill. Determined I slouched in my chair. With my mouse hand loose delicately commanding [...]

It’s official. Today in Korea as much speculation had already suggested, Blizzard has announced the imminent release of one of the most popular and influential video games of all time: Starcraft II. At this point, the details are sparse. We know that at this time, there are only the 3 main races from the previous [...]

Lately there has been buzz about a little company named Blizzard making a big announcement May 19th during a conference in Korea. Korea happens to the Starcraft capital of the world, which is still one of the most widely played games in that area. Every Blizzard fan has been speculating as to what this new [...]

Man O’ Man! Something exciting occurred the other day while questing with my dearest friend Bluefly. We were trying to handle some quests in the Duskwood area, and something magical dropped! On the body of our second downed mob of the night, I found the Magician’s Mantle. I looked up the drop rate on this [...]
