I just stumbled upon something incredible. Remember back to the glory days of the Game Boy Color, if ever there were any, and reminisce of the Resident Evil that couldn’t, a remake of Resident Evil 1. Back then I recall being very impressed by the graphics being churned by a handheld, and seeing the fan base excited by the potential of a portable survival horror title. Sadly, this never became a reality, and soon this title was thrown into the pile of bastard games comprised of titles that never would be.

What if I told you I have created a time machine so that we could see what we wound up missing out on? What if I told you that the time machine comment was all a lie, but that I could offer the next best thing, a glimpse at the first several minutes of gameplay from the the title that never would be? Perhaps the game is not nearly as cool after the years have passed and the dust has settled, but there is no denying that this game had some of the better graphics seen on the Game Boy Color platform. So here’s to you Resident Evil. *throws a rose on its coffin*
