This is only a test.

Borat

Man O’ Man! Something exciting occurred the other day while questing with my dearest friend Bluefly. We were trying to handle some quests in the Duskwood area, and something magical dropped! On the body of our second downed mob of the night, I found the Magician’s Mantle. I looked up the drop rate on this wonderful thing, and off the enemy this dropped from (the Defias Night Runner), there was only a .01% chance. It is so interesting and strange how luck can sometimes smile on someone every now and then. I give this experience the Borat thumbs up!

Every week I attempt to complete a new game. This week I made it to the very last chapter of Dead Rising in one sitting. Because of the hours I work, I do not generally have a great deal of time to play a game in one sitting, so every Tuesday a friend and I get together to work on yet another game with one another. We get all of the needed items together including freezer pizza and energy drinks and away we game. I think the main draw for Dead Rising is that anything (and I mean anything) can be used as a weapon. You’ll find yourself picking up store displays, stuffed animals, rototillers, benches, garbage cans, and many firearms to survive in, and progress through this game. I remember visiting the mall soon after first playing this title, and sure enough, my mind began whirling with the possibilities of how I might use the common place items around me in case of the ever impending zombie invasion which is bound to happen any time now. Not only is this game entertaining, but at the same time, it is truly a teaching tool. If I had my way, I would see all families sit down with one another, and play this together, and once completed, sit down and construct a family emergency plan for when the events portrayed in this game become a reality. It‘s only a matter of time. We no longer have the luxury of happily living our lives without worrying about a zombie attack. Those days are long gone, so rise up, prepare, and play this game, because we will know if you had or had not once the zombies come!
